Here’s the panel from the Paley event that students found most valuable: L - R  Jon Alpert DCTV, Steve Grove You Yube, Christof Putzel, Current TV, Paul Steiger Pro Publica, David Doss, the moderator and Senior Executive Producer at CNN.It was interesting that the young guys did not realize just how much of a pioneer Alpert is. He was shooting with a SONY 1/2 inch Porta-Pak, and figuring out how to get paid by the ultra-uptight networks long before the YouTubers were born.
